Teen and Adult Class
The Teen and Adult Class teaches students ages 13 and older traditional Shorinryu Karate from Okinawa, Japan: the birthplace of Karate. Students learn the importance of basic fundamentals such as stances, blocks, punches, and kicks. They also learn more advanced fundamentals of Shorinryu Karate, such as self-defense, bunkai, and practical applications of kata and kumite. This class also exposes students to teamwork and leadership opportunities to develop and improve confidence, respect, discipline.
